FSUIPC settings

Featured Replies

HiI am new to ASV6 (yesterday) and just want to make sure i am setting my registered/paid copy of FSUIPC properly to get the best out of ASV6.I clicked "weather settings off" as advised and could see afterwards some "greyed-in" checked boxes which tells me that FSUIPC and ASV6 are working together nicely. Can I use the following settings in FSUIPC withou getting a conflict: 1. Technical settings: "smooth pressure changes"2. Visability settings: "apply visibility limits"3. Winds settings: "allow gusts in upper winds" (this one remained checked (bold check, not greyed-in)after i had installed ASV6 and after i had pressed "weather settings off"? Is this ok ?4. Not FSUIPC-related : in FS9 weather settings I have checked "enable winds aloft with downloaded weather"... is this correct ? Thank you for your helpPeter

Hi Peter,Welcome to Active Sky!1-3 are OK.4 Disable because you are not using the FS04 downloaded weather. On the main FS04 weather screen your weather theme should be user defined. The ASv6 manual gives you more on these. If you have other questions feel free to post!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

hi, i didnt want to open an other thread for this ...i thought after setting up ASv6 i should use the "clear weather" set in fs9, always used it like that. so can or should i use the "user defined" weather set in fs9 for ASv6 ?regards, tom.

Hi Tom,Clear weather is fine. It probably gets changed to User Defined anyway.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
