March 17, 200620 yr I have seen that using ASV6 the change of the weather it's not so smooth like I believed! When I fly from a zone to another zone I see clouds appears or disappears, pass through blu sky into foggy skies... I believe that is not completely right so I ask if I have forgotten to click some option. Thanks
March 17, 200620 yr I know that if you are flying in areas that the METARs are far apart (100's of miles) that this can happen. I fly a lot in the Rockies and sometimes the stations are 200 miles apart, I get this then. Also, check to see what your suppresion altitudes are set for. I had a problem where I set my suppression ceiling too low for the terrain I was flying in. I think those altitudes are above Sea Level not Ground Level.
March 17, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi,Most likely, you are referring to the visibility issue where any transition above or below 10sm results in an instant shift in sky color and apparent visibility. Very documented issue. The only solution is to force your maximum visibility to 9sm and you'll never get a "jump" Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
