Visual in FS2004 shows blue skys with scattered low clouds and a few high cirrus clouds. All stations in the area reporting conditions similar to KBKL with overcast. AV6 is NOT showing disconnected. Weather in FS has "User defined" checked. Actually, the window on the right side of Weather tab in FS is accurately showing the same conditions from the METAR above -- but FS is not painting anything close to these conditions on the screen.Thanks.

Hi,Just tried with that METAR via the Wx Configurator (100nm range of KBKL)... Got about a 5nm circle of good overcast stratus at 3000AGL. Outside the 5nm circle it cleared up a bit as is normal with FS9 interpolation. Just not enough stations in the direct vicinity to influence it more towards solid OVC all around. You on SU3 or 4? Would recommend 4 as it has better station coverage.Checking the "favor cumulus" would provide for more coverage in general, as would forcing "global writes" (which fills in the blank spots appropriately but at the cost of more visual wx transition shifts). Try these out, it may provide a better experience for you.Best,
