Active Sky and Silver Wings

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if Silver Wings by Bob Lyons will affect the look of Active Sky 6? It adds low "frame-rate hit" clouds, replaces Autogen, textures, and Scenery/World/Textures. I don't know if it overwrites or just adds to them. I would like to have Active Sky weather and Silver Wings other stuff. I hope that it's possible.Mr. Steve

Thanks. That's good to know. Will this be automatic (except for Metar) or are there settings I will need to check?Mr. Steve

Hi,If you want to use all silver wing texture included rezised clouds, disable auto submit in ASV6 option and don't use ASG, because it will overwrite the clouds texture. If you want to use active sky cloudssky texture and use silver wings others texture like ground, autogen etc, enable auto submit in asv6 option or use manual texture submit in ASG graphics interface. The only things ASV6ASG will overwrite overs Silver wings are the clouds texture, all others silvers wings texture will remain in your fs2004 because ASVASG don't have silver wings ground texture etc.Thw low frame rate clouds are in ASG and it's depend on system spec, some have better performance with DXT or 32 bit from 64x64 to 512x512 resolution.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg
