I have them also so now and then, only seems to happen with those particular clouds. Well, i hope there is something to prevent it but it might be simply the way fs depicts those clouds....Martin

Hi,Blocky formations can occur with stratus layers depending on a number of factors. Are your frames locked to 25 or less? This is important for good cloud rendering. You can also force less stratus layers with "favor cumulus over stratus" option.In mountainous areas the "fog layer generation" option/feature can cause certain undesireable effects as well (if stations are reporting low vis), so you may want to try turning this off.Hope that helps?
