WideFS errors

Featured Replies

Every time I try to load ASv6 I get the error "FS9 network not found or is not accessible.....". Then the program loads and connects to FS and appears to be running. The metar bar comes up and weather seems to load. What I am not sure of is if the program is loading completely and running properly.Any thoughts?Tom

Jim,Thanks for the reply. I am pretty sure all is installed per your comments. When I ran the acctive radar connector it came up with all connections okay. The program seems to be running in FS. My only concern is that I keep getting the error I mentioned.Tom

Hi Jim,Problem solved. When I set up the network using the the Network setup Wizard, I changed the name of my computer. But when I started having problems getting ASv6 to run I had a couple of days of frustration. I finally went back to the system properties and checked the computer name there. It was still the original name. As soon as I changed it in system properties everything worked. The thing that had me confused is that while I kept getting the error, ASv6 would seem to load and FS9 appeared to be operating. I would get the Metar strip and the actual weather would load for the airport I had designated. I was never sure if everything was okay.Anyway thanks for your support.Tom

Thanks Tom!!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
