  1. Can anyone join or do you have to be a student or some related occupation? Tom
  2. Ditto here also regarding FSE. Tom
  3. I have mine calibrated using the PFC setup. I have a single engine but have throttle, prop RPM and mixture all working smoothly Tom
  4. I just got the RealAir Legacy V2. It is a great plane. It is fast, somewhat aerobatic, has all sorts of options and is one you have to manage the landings as it doesn't want to slow down like other planes. Tom
  5. When the crooks own the jail how will they get there? Tom
  6. Is there a dedicated RealAir forum anywhere? Thanks for any info. Tom
  7. Romain, Thanks for the info. Tom Does the Captains version have everything the regular version has plus the RAAS. Is that the only difference? Thanks, Tom Hibben
  8. Is PMDG 737 NGX Reboot a standalone program that doesn't need any of the previous FS2Crew programs installed? I am just a little confused. Thanks, Tom Hibben
  9. I didn't mean to imply the license cost was $100. It appeared I needed to buy a program that would allow me to get to the website that was around $100. I knew if I could get to the website the license was only $5.30. The program had nothing to do with the Mark. Sorry for the confusion. Tom
  10. Mark, I tried the library you sent me and opened the file. I entered the .exe file which then started changing some of my security files. It finally opened into a folder I didn't recognize and had nearly a $100 cost to install. I have given up. Tom
  11. Could someone please point me in the right direction to purchase and download the program. Thanks, Tom
  12. I just installed the Seabee and there is no sound of any sort inside the cockpit once you take off. If you select an external view the engine sound is good. If anyone has any thoughts I would sure appreciate it. I went to their forum but it is not working. Thanks, Tom
  13. Hi Ray, Thanks for the response. I just went ahead and bought it since I was having so much trouble getting the original KSEA installed. So far it seems to be working fine. I live in Seattle, used to live across the street from it a looooong time ago, and it does sit on a mini plateau. I played golf at the south end of the RH runway which was probably 20 to 30 feet above the course. In those days wing tip vortices could really play havoc with a golf shot as the vortices came down to the ground. I digress, thanks for your info. Tom
  14. Hi Ray, I logged into their website and have not received a confirming e-mail. I also can't make up my mind on buying their KSEA scenery. What is your overall opinion of the scenery? Thanks, Tom
  15. Clive, Thanks for the info but so far I have not been able to install FSUIPC either. Thanks, Tom
  16. Is anyone using PFC Flight Controls with Steam? If so how did you get STEAM to recognize them? Thanks in advance, Tom

  18. Many years ago I bought a Canon 15X45 Image Stabilized 4.5 binocular. Can't live without them especially as I get older and shakier....grin I don't know what is out there now but an image stabilized one now has got to be even better. Tom
  19. Thanks, Got it. Tom
  20. Maarten, I can't find the manual. Could you give me he address for it please. I have downloaded the program and it is great but I think I really need to read the manual. Thanks, Tom Hibben
  21. Hi Sam, Don't give up to soon you have lots of years ahead of you. I am 80+ and still fly most days. The good thing for me is FSX works fine especially with ORBX. A2A and a multitude of other fine planes. You are only as old as you feel....grin Keep flying. Tom
  22. KSEA & KPDX Tom
  23. What other planes will have the plugs foul if you don't lean the mixture correctly? The electronics operate exactly as the real ones do. So much so that they provide you with the real Bendix manuals. The electronics are also the as delivered models which as they explain are not usually updated in most 172's. The only problem I have had was getting my PFC hardware all calibrated. FSUIPC was used in most areas. Tom
  24. They are built in Everett, PAE. The first planes built of a certain model, ie 747, 767, 777 etc. are tested at Boeing Field. The first flight is obviously from KPAE but it lands at KBFI. This is where the Flight Test center is located. The certification tests are run from there. Several planes are in test at the same time and each one has test instrumentation to gather data for the specific tests they will be running. Depending on the test they are conducting they may leave Seattle for several weeks at a time to an area specific to those tests. For instance braking, high altitude takeoffs, cold temperatures etc. Once the plane is FAA certified it is then delivered to the customer. After a certain model is certified all of the rest of the planes built in Everett, KPAE, are delivered from there. Hope this helps. Tom
