April 21, 200620 yr I believe I understand updates to refer to updating newly downloaded weather into FS 9 every "x" minutes, and that is what throttling is refering to.But if I choose not to update, then does AS6 download the entire weather everywhere in the country into FS 9 on startup? Or as one flies from area to area is there an ongoing "update" of the weather that is updating and is affected by the throttling process as well?Hope this question makes some sense. Thanks,Greg Greg Clark
April 21, 200620 yr Hi Greg,No, throttling is dealing with the speed of some of the internal processes that ASv6 goes through. No matter what, you are still getting world-wide weather downloaded and the same amount of weather into FS04.The weather you see in FS will still be updated and is not affected by the throttling process.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
