Just had to re-install WinXP, FS etc. Got to installing Active Sky, adn I got a message about it being unable to find my personal application data folder. Pointed to the folder using the box that appears (after having to set the folders to view hidden & system files as it is a hidden folder), and then get a file initilization error.Tried sharing the folder as suggested in the forum - still no go. Hi,Is the Application Data folder set to Read Only?Edit: You realize that this is ASV and not ASv6? The network set-up is a bit different for ASV. The Application Data folder does not need to be shared for ASV.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

Figured the problem out. I had just wiped the hard disk and started from scratch, and I hadn't started FS9 prior to installing and running AS6. As a result, there was no FS9 folder in Application Data for AS to use, hence the file error. After starting FS9, and letting it create all the files it does on first start, AS started up normally.oddly enough, my first post was the ASv6.ini file that was created when AS6 was installed. Now I've successfully started and saved the options in AS, the ASv6.ini has been updated. Strange.Anyway, all working now. Thanks for the help Jim. Now just got to get all the settings back to how I want them. Always great fun...!
