I just purchase ASversion 6. It works fine and its basically an AMAZING program. I have just encoutered a problem with the Weather Radar. I open the radar but unfortunely nothing is displayed. I have tried everything possible but it doesnt show anything..for example its raining and snowing and on the radar nothing will show up..how do I fix this problem please???

Hi,Are you using WideFS on a network? If so, you need to follow the instructions in the readme file for proper setup.If not on WideFS, please confirm you are waiting at least 5 minutes after weather update for weather data to be read into the radar, and please let us know what the closest station and precipitation report show (AR Tracking)? Thank you very much for your reply. I am not using WideFS but the FS9. The report shows all correct except for percipitation and cloud coverage. I will start it up and wait 5 minutes and let you know...

I waited more than 5 min.no luck..what do I do next???

Ok this is what I have found out. Everytime I use the WX configurator the Radar weather for some reason doesnt show anything. BUT when I don't use the WX configurator and the program automaticaly downloads the weather, the radar weather works perfectly. I have no idea why it does that though...and ahh another question do you always have to be online to make the program work? thanks a lot for your help.

Thanx for the reply...unfortunely just refreshing didn't help, the problem is everytime I change the weather, like more than once the weather radar seem to freeze or something. The only way to make it work again is to reset flight simulator from the start. Is this normal?

Hi,What Theme are you loading from wx Configurator?Edit: There are some precipitation codes that AR does not recognize. I think the Thunderstorm Theme has one of those codes. Well yeah I use the Thunderstorm theme under WX configurator and the AR as you said doesnt recognize those codes. What I loaded is the blizzard theme but I edit the METAR to reach the kind of weather I want..could that be the problem??
