I installed ASV yesterday and it runs ok but when I try to access ASG I get an error message Common Language Realtime Debug "Application has generated an exception" and ASG will not open.I checked and reinstalled my .NET Framework and it made no difference.Thanks,Roger Curtiss

Hi,In the other thread the problem ended up being that .NET 1.1 would not install correctly, and 1.1 is REQUIRED for ASG to run properly.Based on the error message I think you have .NET 2.0 but not .NET 1.1. Installing .NET 1.1 should get you up and running. Quickest way to install: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (custom/optional links).Does that help?Best,

Damian:I do have NET 2.0. I went to the link and clicked Custom but I see no "optional link" to select to choose NET 1.1. I tried clicking on all sorts of things that were there but nothing is leading me to the right place.So I guess I am unashamedly begging for some "walk me through this" assistance.Roger Curtiss

Hi Roger,I think if you had uninstalled NET2.0 first, then that page would have suggested that you install NET1.1. That is our prefered method!
