July 16, 200619 yr I do not know if this is ASv related, but I never had this problem before installing ASv so I am throwing the possibility out there for comment...I am unable to run FS9 with any time selected other than current "real time". I select a different time and the sim switches to it for a moment but then loads again and appears with the current clock setting.Roger Curtiss
July 17, 200619 yr Hi Roger,Is Auto Set FS Time on Archive D/L checked On in ASv6 options?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://dot.kelder.net:8080/fseconomy/
July 18, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,AS doesn't change your time except during offline downloads (with options for auto FS time set) or during auto or manual AI refreshes, where it sets the time ahead 2 minutes and back. But these are not constant events. It sort of sounds like you are using a time add-on which is overriding your settings. Do you use FSRealTime? If so I would disable this when attempting to change times.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

July 20, 200619 yr Author I did have FS Real Time installed and did not realize it...however, deleting it has had no effect on the problem.Roger
July 20, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi Roger,Please see if the problem persists with ASv6 not running. If so, it shows that ASv6 isn't involved, and perhaps FSRealTime is still running somehow? Also check your FSUIPC options if you have the registered version. I believe there is a time correction feature which might be related? Try turning that off if it's on.Other than that I am out of ideas at the moment! If it won't work, I will investigate a bit more and see if I can find any reference to this issue with potention solutions.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
July 20, 200619 yr Author Damion:I am very appreciative of your suggestions and willingness to continue to attempt to assist me even if this is not an ASv6 issue. It turns out it is not. But I figured it out...I have FSInn installed and it was set to automatically sync my clock with zulu time. Once I disbaled that option everything runs just fine. Put this one in the Solved column. Thanks again,Roger Curtiss
July 21, 200619 yr Commercial Member Aha! Didn't realize FSInn controlled time (haven't tried it). Will keep this in mind! Thanks for the info and glad you got things working..Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
