FSX - Thoughts on weather

Featured Replies

Hi,Forgive me for my impatience but I'm just curious to know if FSX yields any new features to be able to improve future versions of active sky? I think FSX now implements thermals and better visibility *layers* .. not transitions. I am still surprised to see no dynamic weather system that has been claimed since FS9. There's a #### of alot more to it than just changing cloud formations. I love active sky and for me, it's saved my interest in flight simulation.Steve

Hi Steve,Thanks for the words! We are not sure what FSX will bring and how Active Sky will fit in. It really is a "wait and see" situation.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Interesting... I'm not sure how much of an improvement FSX is in the weather department apart from the aforementioned but I am looking forward to what you guys come up with!Steve
