August 20, 200619 yr You must been getting a dollar credited into your account for each Metar upload.I would only be getting Fifty three pences UK currency as I'm UK based to a dollar.;( We Wish:-beerchug
August 20, 200619 yr Hi All,The $ is in the remarks section and has no influence on the running of ASv6!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
August 20, 200619 yr Hello again,I noticed sometimes I have the $ sign in the Metar reports and from what Jim said from his previous post,it has no bearing or influence on the basis of an ASv6 performance. Cheerio David "Don't drink and Fly"
August 21, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,The RMK (remarks) section RMK AO2 SLP156 T02500033 $ decoded (note that RMK sections have no influence within AS or FS):Remark, ASOS (automated surface observation station)-generated, sea-level pressure 1015.6 millibars, temperature 25.0C, dewpoint 3.3C, maintenance needed on this station. While I'm not very familiar with how $ is used, it appears a normal indicator when a certain period of time elapses, to let those responsible know that maintenance is due... I would imagine it would also show when a certain sensor wasn't working properly.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
