August 24, 200619 yr the reason that i got active sky was because the default wether would suddenly give me an overcast condition instanlty out of no where....but...active sky does the same thing...in a flash there is all of a sudden an overcast condition...how can i get the weather to change gradually like in real life?
August 24, 200619 yr Hi Ren,That is a situation in FS04 and there is not much we can do. Some suggestions:Set max visibility to 29.Use FS9 Haze OnUse Fog Generation OnAfter making these changes, restart ASv6 and FS04.We all hope that FSX deals with this situation better than FS04 does.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
August 25, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,To clarify, it's not an OVERCAST condition you're seeing, its a visibility layer that drastically changes in depiction once passing the 10sm mark. You can eliminate the problem by setting maximum visibility to 9sm but there are drawbacks to this. Jim has some good suggestions there for another good potential solution. It's up to personal taste. Also you may want to look back at the dozens upon dozens of threads on the same topic... Lots of good suggestions made.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
