September 8, 200619 yr Hi Jason,We would much rather have you remove ASV through Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs. Please uninstall the ASV clouds first then the program. This was registry entries should get cleaned up also.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
September 20, 200619 yr Hi Jim,A related question - I upgraded to Active Sky v6 when it was first available. Now I'm trying to free up some disk space and I noticed I still have the 3 sets of 512 X 512 cloud textures from ASV. When I tried to uninstall them, I got an error message saying that ASV must be installed. In addition to the Cloud Textures sets, my Add/Remove Programs listing shows I still have ASV Enhanced Upgrade, AS 2004.5 Update and AS 2004. I was going to follow your advice in removing these old versions, but got stumped when I couldn't delete the cloud textures. What do I need to do to clean this up?Thanks, Roberto Martinez P.S. Thank you for an excellent program.
September 20, 200619 yr Hi,Thanks for the words! For the clouds you should re-install ASV, remove the clouds first, and then remove ASV.For the others uninstall in reverse order. Please let us know if you need more help,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
