When I try to start up the ASv6 Engine, an outline of the startup pops up and goes away. framworks 1.1 and 2 are installed aswell as vbrun6, and sp2. Fsuipc is installed, up to date and registered. The ASG does work fine. Anyone have an Idea on how to fix this?Joe

Hi Joe,Sorry for the problem. Go to your setup.exe file and start a re-install process. Some choices should be presented and Repair is one of them. Choose that and any missing or bad files will be replaced. Then see what happens. Hey JimI decided to uninstall both frameworks and active sky today. I reinstalled framework 1.1 rebooted framework 2 rebooted then active sky rebooted. The engine started up, then poped up a message about something being outdated then shut down. Then I decided to install the update and still nothing. thats where it is today.. The other problem I had was within the .ini file its not putting the path for fs9 or the weather folder and its not putting this in the ini. at all " PersonalAppDataFolder" or its path I have to go in and enter it manually. I hope this information helpsJoe

Hi,If I understand correctly, the problem is that ASv6 user interface screen is not showing up?Check your ASv6.ini (or post it here) for the saved window position.. if you've changed resolutions/multimonitor setup the panel may be off screen... suggest resetting to 100 and 100 for x and y.Does that help?Best,

hey Damian,I changed the ini. to 100 on both no change still the outline of a window I will attach my ini. file for viewing. also how can I check to see if the vbrun is properly install in the sys32 folder how many files should there be?Joe

Hey Damian,PROBLEM SOLVED:) Apperantly i have a pop-up blocker and didnt know it. My IE6 apperantly has one and I found it when i was searching for commercial airliners and IE said it blocked a popup when I saw that I clicked option turn popup blocker off. Tryed AS6v and bingo it started up. AS6 works perfect. I thank you and Jim for all the time and effort you put in at this problem.... You guys make 1 #### of a team..Once again THANK YOUJoe
