Hi Jim i have just purchased ASV6 also upgraded suv5.On start i get no thunder sound also when i tune in on 122.00 no sound report at all. In options the open theme is ticked.What is my problem.............regards robin:(

ok i have removed the first download re installed asv6 not suv5 still no sound from the start up the box has been ticked as per default settings..................regards robin

Hi Robin,Sorry for the problem.Go to the ASv6 folder and click on the thunder.wav file. Does that sound play? ok jim somethingis still not queit right firstly within asv6 folder i clicked on sound folder it told me to install itunes which i did.However when i activated asv6 no sound of thunder.Ok i uninstalled and reinstalled asv6 within asv6 sound folder the thunder sound played.Activated asv6 no opening thunder sound am i sill doing somethink wrong .............regards robin

Hi,Do you have more than one sound card/device on your system? ASv6 always defaults to the first device, and it may be that your speakers are connected to the second and would explain why you don't hear anything from AS.Other than that I don't have any ideas at the moment. ASv6 uses the normal windows wav device associated with the first sound device.Best,

Hi,Is Use Startup Sound checked On?There is no Sound folder in the ASv6 folder so that is confusing to me!Not sure why just to browse a folder you would need itunes. what imeant was clicked on .wav file up came windows media.went thru a series of questions like do yuo accept the terms etc.then the sound plays.Reinstalled again went toasv6 folder clicked on the .Wav file the sound of thunder played instantly.Then activated asv6 no sound played yes the box was ticked.I do have windows media 10 installed cant fathom out what the problem is........regards robin

Have no sound card just h/d Realtek hd aud.sys.Have solved the problemwent to control panel sound @ audio applied Realtek audio every thing is working fine my apoligise for any inconvenience your product is fantastic..................Regards robin
