December 19, 200223 yr Hi,I had to reinstall FS2002 due to virus and other problems. Unfortunately I was too dumb copying all the files properly. I have all PAI aircraft folders left but unfortunately the traffic.bgl was lost as well as the aircraft.txt, fligtplan.txt files etc..Can someone who has the complete PAI traffic up to date and clean send me his traffic.bgl??I would be very thankful.Bst rgds,Alex
December 19, 200223 yr Alex,You're opening yourself up to problems if you just get the .bgl file. People alter this to include other aircraft, and without aircraft.txt and airports.txt to match you're looking at a nightmare. With the new PAI installer, you can install multiple airlines all at once instead of one at a time. They also have new liveries and flightplan corrections. One man's opinion.Glenn
December 19, 200223 yr Thx Glenn,I anticipated something like that, but tought I could simply extract the bgl with TTools and go on from there before recompiling it. Just one more question. The new installer only works with the new files not with the old ones, am I right?Alex
December 19, 200223 yr To the best of my knowledge Alex, yes. You might be better to explore this at the PAI forums. I'm no expert, just a fanatical user.Cheers,Glenn
December 19, 200223 yr The new installer works only when using .pai files. The installer will not install any of the old packages.Yes it's true you can install mulitple airline packages all at once.I've done as many as 10 at a time with nary a problem. This is definately the way to go instead of using someone else's bgl file. Plus, most of the new packages contain updates and fixes from the original files. No need to delete either. The new installer will simply overright the old files and do the updates automatically.KJ
