  1. One fast question please Henrik. Do we remove the folder gaist-us-lakes as well as gaist-msfs-V2 once we install the beta? Thanks for all you and the team's wonderful work!
  2. I have opened a service ticket with MadCatz on this issue and shall keep you posted.
  3. I suffer the same fate after years of reliable use. Took it out of the box today after a few months and no xy response, except it jumping to the top left corner of the calibration window. Any thoughts?
  4. This link may help you with some recommended settings. Works like a charm for me... http://www.simforums.com/forums/nhancer-settings-for-new-drivers-updated-v1932_topic36586.html
  5. Hello all. Strange minor problem. I cannot scroll with the mouse wheel in the menus (aircraft selection, airport selection etc.). I am using a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 at the default settings in it's control panel. The scroll function works fine in both cockpit and other applications. Any thoughts or assistance would be most appreciated. Cheers, Glenn
  6. I can't even drive let alone fly without TrackIr...Dealbreaker for me but sadly it looks so good.
  7. I may be suffering the same way. Could someone please post a similar screen shot of what the textures "should" look like at that altitude? We may be simply expecting too much.
  8. This scenery is brilliant! Spent time just watching the air show last night. Many thanks to the developers.
  9. Try http://www.hovercontrol.com/ . They taught me everything I know on flying choppers. Great downloads too!Cheers,Glenn (CYQG)

I extend my condolences to his family. Truly one of the greats.GlennWindsor (CYQG)
  11. I'll second that...I've been using v 4.0 since its release, and provided someone can get an AFCAD going for FS2002 life will be perfect!Reagrds,GlennCYQG*edited for spelling*
  12. Hi all,I'm messing with Paul Mainville's KDTW 5.0 (available in the file library) but the AFCAD file included does not cooperate. Is there a way to export the AFCAD 2 file for use in FS 2002?If not, has anyone started work on an AFCAD for this airport? I've modified AFCADs in the past, but never attempted a full creation.Cheers,Glenn
  13. Has anyone seen any improvement with FS2002?I'm running a 2.4 P4 w/GEForce 3 ti200.What if any ramnifications are there to decompressing the folder if I see a degradation in performance? Thanks in advance,GlennCYQG
  14. Thanks, Gosta. I'll give it a go.Kevin: I haven't used RAFCAD's in the past. Will they function as an AFCAD if not provided with radius info? I don't fancy going through all my AI aircraft to modify them if I don't need to. Also, I checked PAI's libraries and can't find your RAFCAD file. Perhaps you could send it to me.Thanks to both,Glenn
  15. Nothing yet?Cheers,G.

I had the Wingman 3D Force and had the joystick pot fail within 2 months of purchase. Their support is a toll call to Las Vegas, NV, and after waiting on hold for a good $30 worth, I put it in a bag and bought a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. This was two years ago and have yet to have a problem. On an unrelated note, I had a Logitech Wingman Cordless gamepad crap out on me after 1 month of use. Same level of service. It's now on my shelf to remind me "once bitten, twice shy".In sum, don't buy another Logitech product if you can avoid it.Best of luck,Glenn
  17. Their callsign is West Indian.Cheers,Glenn
  18. I had a hard drive crash about a month ago, and I said to myself:"Self, just wait until FS2004. No sense in adding all those flights and sceneries and AFCADs and aircraft."Well yesterday I finished adding the last of the MRAI flightplans and aircraft, I'm back to who knows how many sceneries, and I'm flying daily. In brief, no. I couldn't just walk away either.Cheers,Glenn
  19. Makes sense, Noel. I guess the best bet is to simply try different settings with different software and see what's best. Thanks for the reply,Glenn
  20. I've often pondered this subject. I can't understand how turning acceleration down would increase performance. You'd think that off loading the sound on the hardware would decrease CPU usage and net a gain in framerates.Could anyone explain this to me, please?Cheers,Glenn
  21. OK...Here's the translation:TOKYO (Tokyo detailed scenery / default Tokyo & rainbow flight GMAX edition) 2003.5.20.up Present version is the default Tokyo edition G1.2 and the rainbow flight edition G1.2. Default Tokyo edition (Download) TK2002.ZIP (5.22m) Rainbow flight edition (Download) TK2002rc.zip (5.15m) TOKYO ( Tokyo detailed scenery / twilight Kanto edition GMAX edition ) 2003.5.20.up Present version is the G1.2. Twilight Kanto edition (Download) TK2002tw (5.24m) Now...what are Rainbow Flight and twilight kanto? The shot of stand place with Rainbow Flight looks WAY more detailed.Cheers,G.
  22. I installed TK2002 and it looks good. The "w" file seems as though it was made for a landclass update as some objects are misplaced. I didn't bother with the "r" file.Anyone here able to translate the Japanese for the group?I'd like to ensure I'm getting the full effect.Cheers,Glenn
