FSX Bloom Problem.

Featured Replies

I posted this in the FSX thread as well.. Not sure if others who use Active sky has experienced this.Remember, during the early Demo, the Bloom was buggy...You get the flashing white screen. I thought they fixed that in the final release. In lFR condition (in the soup).. The Bloom has that same problem. I wanted the Bloom...so when I break out of the soup..I can see the lights in all its glory. IT works for a while..and then all I get is a white screen...erasing my VC as well. When I turn off the bloom, I get my VC back.I have ActiveSky.. when It sends a new weather station data (visibility change etc)... It triggers the problem I suspect. Hmmmm....Also...How do I prevent outside vibility to no change suddenly? Today....two near by stations went from ceilings at 100feet to 10SM visibility... and thjis went back and forth... and outside visibility was changing suddenly. How do I do a gradual change of visibility in FSX?MannyPS: edited to add. This problem is not restricterd to Active Sky. It has nothing to do with Active Sky. I just tested it with FSX real weather without AS6.5 . Its just more pronouced with AS6.5

Hi Manny,I have no idea about the Bloom issue. For visibility look and make sure that Use FS9 Haze is On. You will need to restart FSX and AS after making this change. That may help a bit.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
