I am seeing ship in Little Map But I am not seeing ships

I thought I saw white ships. You busted my ignorance. And yes.. I noticed the birds tied to the ships,. Cool.. and I thought they were white Albatross. LOL 🙂

Finally Proof! I see AI_Aphrodite and AI_Calypso Both of them are in the AI Traffic V2 inventory.

I am seeing a bunch of boats/ships in the English channel and when I use the LNM to get the name and check against the files within Global_AI_Ship_Traffic_V2 Simobject Boat, I cannot find them. So I believe the ships I am seeing are default ships This is just one example. The nameof this vessel in LNM is "AI_Thrungia" just as I see painted on the ship. But this is not in the Simobject folder within Global AI Ship Traffic V2. I checked few others, the same thing You can get the name of the file/ship object using LNM

How do you know that ship is not from default sim? I saw some ships too. and then I deeleted this add on and then saw the same/similar ships.

I deleted both the AI Ship folders and then restarted MSFS and flew around KSFO and saw the same ships. The Henrik Nielson's Global AI Ship Traffic install is not working for me. I followed the instructions here. The only way you can tell is go the same place fly around and take screenshots, then install this and follow the instructions and then fly around the same locations to see if you are seeing more ships.

I am seeing 0 ships in Honk Kong. But I do see some ships around KSFO.

I am at TFFJ and I see this one. I believe that one is from the Princess Julianna Addon. I am not seeing other ships.

OK. I think I did all the steps. Now where do I go to see the pretty ships? 🙂 figured: The included PDF has some visual routes around the Globe.

I was going to post that and then saw you beat me to it. 🙂 This is the site that really got me into simming and into actual flying. Here is where I learned about all kinds of Navigation. VOR, ADF, ILS, Airways, etc. The first lesson I learned was the danger of Homing using ADF. I am like why? I can always reach the airport if I dial in the NDB frequency and I then just point the needle to the North. I am home.. Is the water improved to FSX standards?

deactivating scenery that you don't fly often helps with the load time.. when starting P3D, my start up screen shows 6% terrain and remains in that range 6%-9% for a long time.. and then goes from there to 100% in a jiffy. I wish LM would give us a debug option to display...what the heck its doing instead of that useless/dumb %age thingi which is totally misleading.

Yup..it happens for me too.. IS it the sun? I always thought. its the wing tip light that shows up there from inside the VC... its ok in spot view.

I am running AS16 on another PC.. I already have ASConnect confg set up for server/client relationship since ASN talks to my server PC running P3D So how do I tell AS16 not to look for a P3D machine in that PC instead use the simconnect instead? BTW..there is a local copy of the P3D in that second machine..so when I installed the AS16 it used the local P3D folder. Now, how do I redirect it to not wait for the local P3D? "Simulator installation folder" shows the local P3D location. That should be blank or something

I have been using the awesome NL2000 Project photoscenery for Neatherlands since FSX. I enhanced it with the recent purchase of Night Environment for Benelux. I started at EHAM with 700MB VAS and I flew cardinal south....the VAS free started shrinking from 700...150 untii OOM before I left NL. I deselected the NL completly and redid the exact flight.. and it started with 900MB VAS and went down to 400 or so and stayed there... At UK (South) I use the VFR Horizon Photoscenery and I am unable to NE British Isle with a OOM at start up.. I removed the VFR Horizon and I was able to start up at UK EGLL. It looks like large area of Photo textures and P3D don't seem to mix well.
