Possible minor issue with RealAir Lancair Legacy V2

Featured Replies

I'm speculating that this may have something to do with the configuration of the aircraft's headlights/spotlights. The 'artifact' is not seen with other aircraft I've tested nor is it seen when the outside view is selected, only in the VC of the Legacy.

All views are of the sun looking east after dawn.

That happens with their aircraft - I can't recall what the reason was.

Hi Ryan,

Ah, right, so it's a known issue. Seems odd that this appears to be associated with the sun.

Thanks,

Mike

Yup..it happens for me too.. IS it the sun? I always thought. its the wing tip light that shows up there from inside the VC... its ok in spot view.

No it's the sun - Rob from RA told me why at one point

Must have something to do with how they handle reflections and dirt on the wind shield. The thing is though, my sun doesn't display that problem, I think I have reflections on but not dirt. Will have to check.. I have reflections and dirt but grime is turned off.

One other possibility is if you have played with the shaders.
