December 20, 200619 yr Hi,You edit the ASv6.ini, rename it and then point the ASv6 shortcut to the new .ini file. This means that you will have 2 icons for ASv6, one for FS04 and one for FSX.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
January 4, 200719 yr Hi, JimThanks for your answers. It's very good to know that support really means support, even with dumb questions as many of mine.Haven't time to use my FS9/FSX. Just recently I got the best of widefs config. Had trouble with EduMy docsFlight Simulator/X Files and EduAppDataMicrosoftFS9/FSX. Did copy everything from the latter to former and everything works okay but ASv6.5Didn't upgrade to build536 (just now I realized that there is a link to get 536 beta) - how dumb can I be?Have ASv6.5 (533) installed in my wideclient pc in 2nd drive (don't like mixing os and its add-ons with other programs). Since I'm having trouble running AS with both FS9/FSX because it's always saying that there is an error 6 or 8 while trying to set the path to FS and that some far weather stations won't be accessible and in main ASv6.5 window when downloading weather, there is a message saying that there is some kind of error while trying to retreive weather because of tread, my questions:1) If I delete weatherstations.bin from both FS9/FSX AppData and delete AS.ini will this imply like it's a first install so when I run AS6.5 the .ini will be created?2) Build 536 fix some of troubles mentioned above? Thanks in advanceEduardo
January 4, 200719 yr Hi, MartijnBeing both naive and dumb is it very difficult to add command lines in FSAutostart?ThanksEduardo
January 4, 200719 yr Hi,1. Do not delete the .bin file. The .ini file can be deleted in order to build a new one.2. Make sure that you are sharing the correct .bin file. If you installed the demo of FSX your path may be a bit different. Do a search for the file.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
