December 10, 200619 yr I have been noticing recently that FSnavigator is showing the winds correctly per the ASV interface but FS9 itself is a few degrees - up to 20 - out. The speeds are always correct.Finding it very strange but not life threatening!! Just wondering if anyone else is getting this and whther its an issue with my FSUPIC settings. I do not understand how FSnavigator can show correct settings and the main sim not. Interesting to get some feedbackThanksJohn John Hewson
December 11, 200619 yr Hi John,If these are ground winds then we report true wind direction and FS shows magnetic wind direction.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
December 11, 200619 yr Author Thanks for the reply hadnt noticed this before - I guess that also explains the reason for variations at high levels - especially as wind speds are correct just the difference in directionJohn John Hewson
