HiI had to do a complete re-install recently of all my fs files-everything works ok except as6.5,it loads ok but on start up I get the attached error message. Can somebody please help me with it and tell me what to do.Many thanks.Qas

Hi,Sorry for the problem. It does look like a bad install. Try a uninstall if AS is listed in the Add/Remove screen of the Windows Control Panel. If not, then delete the ASv6 folder and let's try a clean re-install.Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hi JimThanks for the reply.I have re-installed a number of times and the same message comes-I have noticed that in the ini. file there is no fs path.I see ***instead.I have tried to type the fs9 path as F: .....,but it won't accept.Could this be the problem and if so what format should I insert the path?Looking forward to your suggestion.Qas

Hi,It may be that your FS install and registry are not correct. The registry thinks it is one place and FS is not. Have you moved FS around? If yes, then Flight1 has a registry repair tool that will fix the registry. The format of that one line is the path to the FS04 folder. We can also try a new download and install of AS if you would drop me an e-mail to [email protected],Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
