February 16, 200719 yr Hi,I have a question that is not specific to ActiveSky but is regarding the "WideFS/ASv6 Extensive Info" post to this forum. The writer indicated that he was running FSbuild on the FS9/Wideserver pc instead of the wideclient pc.My questions are: Can FSbuild be installed and ran on the wideclient pc? Will it still communicate the winds aloft data to AS6? Is there any advantage to having it on the wideserver computer or is it just a matter of preference?I have it installed on the wideclient pc now, and the only apparent problem is that it will not export flight plans into the wideserver "flight simulator files" folder. I get an unable to export message, eventhough in the export settings I have browsed to the appropriate FS folder on my wideserver pc.Any information would be greatly appreciated!
February 16, 200719 yr I run FS9,FSBuild on my Wideserver and ASV65 and SB3 on my wideclient CP. Works fine so if your having problems just install FSBuild on your Wideserver and you'll have no problems. Just make usre that in the options in FSBuild you browse all the way down to the correct ASV65 folder so that you get windsaloft data for FSBuild for flight planning.
April 5, 200719 yr Question: I thought ASV65 doesnt support winds aloft data into FSBUILD.???? Can anyone help me cause Ive been trying to do this for a very LONG time with no success?GideonB
April 6, 200719 yr Hi,Make sure you have the latest version of FSB.Then in the FSB options point it to your ASv6 folder. I believe if you search just this Forum for "FS Build" you'll get more detailed instructions!Edit: I now see you found the thread!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
