FLP WX Nav Log

Featured Replies

Hi, New to AS and as always there are questions. Only one right now though. In attempting to download weather for a saved flight plan and produce a complete nav log, the process is taking forever or locking up and not completeing. I started one, left for over an hour, and on returning, it was frozen on one of the reporting weather stations and never completed. Tried again with same results, although I wasn't going to wait another hour.According to the instuction manual this should only take a couple of minutes, maybe up to five.Any ideas? I'm on DSL so it's not the connection speed at issue here. Thanks for any advice and help.JimP.S. I'm flying FS9 and on XP

Hi,Welcome and sorry for the problem. Is the problem in the downloading of the weather or the processing of the plan? What was used to develop the plan? For best results you should use a stock FS04 plan. Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Thanks for a quick response. And in answer, the fltpln was generated in FS9, but all seems well now. Don't know what happened but I was able to complete the weather generation in the NAV LOG screen for all way points. Thanks,Jim
