Hello ASV team,Been using and loving your product for a few years now and I have noticed in the last little while some degredation while ASV6.5 is in use.Starting in the default flight at KSEA I have the following FPS count(locked at 33FPS):28 FPS avg. FS Stormy Weather28 FPS avg. FS Fair Weather28 FPS avg. FS Real Weather14 FPS avg. ASV6.5 WeatherI have included 2 SS, the 1st being FS9 "Real Weather" and the 2nd being ASV6.5, which by the way looks much better than the default FS real weather.I have included my ASV6.ini file and my FS9.cfg weather file. I reduced my cloud layers to 3 from 5, and I am using DXT3 textures, with render to texture checked off in FS9 display setting. I am also using UT USA, Canada/Alaska, GEPII, FE, FSGenesis, but they shouldn't affect FPS.Thanks for your help fellows.

Hi Rob,I will try to help:1. What are your system specs?2. Try with cloud draw distance set to 30.3. Hi Jim, Geez, that was quick!First off I looked at your post re Realistic Weather Settings and will make some changes based on the above and the post. Can I make a copy and rename the ASV6.ini file and use that as a backup just in case the new settings are too much for my system?Ok here are my specs:MB ASRock 775VM8CPU P4 3GHz 64 Bit with 2mb cacheRAM 2x512Mb PC3200 @ 400MHzSound Card SB Crative Audigy 2 ZSGPU Albatron Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT 256Mb v93.71 DriverViewsonic VP201S @1600x1200x32That's about it. I made the changes as discussed in the previous posts. I checked my FS9.CFG using the configurator and noticed that I had made a backup and left it in the FS9 folder along with the one that was being used and deleted that. All in all I do not get anymore FPS hits at KSEA with the ASV6.5 running, although I would like to change the number of layers back to 5. I suspect that I will not see much of a hit on the FPS.On a side note, I am going to be purchasing a new comp in the coming months and I was wondering if there is a way to get the full install of ASV6.6 for FS9 instead of having to run the base and upgrades? Barring that I may just purchase the latest ASky, I may feel a little generous then. Without third party devs like yourselves FS would not be what it is.Thanks again for your help.
