April 10, 200719 yr Hi,[With ASv6.5 and FS9]Starting a flight at PHNL:PHNL 101253Z 05009KT 10SM FEW038 BKN070 23/17 A3009 RMK AO2 SLP189 T02330172The clouds appear, but the winds, pressure and temp remain ICAO standard (29.92, 15C and calm). It doesn't matter how many times I push refresh or reset AI, it never changes. I have had this problem erractically in different locations around the world, but not constantly. I have a registered version of FSUIPC, and am using wind smoothing. Thanks...- daniel
April 10, 200719 yr Hi Daniel,Sorry for the problem. Are you running B552? Also try to force the Secondary Server. Lastly, set FSUIPC to default settings and weather settings Off.Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
April 10, 200719 yr Author No actually, I didn't realize I was only running B533. Have updated now. As it only happens once in a while and at varying locals, I'll try a few flights and see if it happens again. Thanks for the reply.- daniel
April 11, 200719 yr Jim-in Daniels post you said, "Lastly, set FSUIPC to default settings and weather settings Off".Just wondering, after one sets FSUIPC to default settings and WX settings off when installing ASV6.5 originally, are there any other circumstances when one needs to go back to FSUIPC and do this again? How does one know by looking at a non registered version of FSUIPC faceplate that both of these have been properly set and FSUIPC is currently in the "default" and "WX settings off" modes? Thx.
April 11, 200719 yr Hi,Do this if:FS crashes a lot. The FSUIPC.ini file can get corrupted. This IS NOT the cause of the crashes. You have made custom changes. You are getting weather that does not match AS in FS.With the free version, there are no values to change, so I do it once and then forget about it! There is no way to "tell". You just click on the two buttons.Thanks!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
