May 6, 200719 yr Hi Guys,I noticed a reference to lighting in the new AS version. Do you know if the new AS will allow aircraft lights to reflect off clouds? Specifically landing lights while passing through clouds. Strobe and navigation lights would also be a great feature.Regards,Richard
May 6, 200719 yr Hi,Sorry no, because that effect is not part of the FSX engine. You are right though, that would be cool to see. Some things we cannot do because of the limitations of FS.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

May 12, 200719 yr Hello, Couldn't help to jump on the wagon. I have the aeroworx B200 on FS2004 and when you are coming in for final in ILS condition's seems the landing lights at times seem to have a reflection on the clouds and you have to kick off landing lights and use taxi lights. Dunno may be just me but seem's like that happens. A change of subject here. But I can't help to notice that we are a few years away from 2010 and with the technology we have why hasn't basically the ultimate flight sim just been created? Could it be too much commercialization or marketing that has to do with it. Kinda like putting the carrot on a string in front of the rabbit. Too be honest I am really on a hunch that fs2004 is about to be left in the dust and it hurt's (grin) I put way too much money into this hundred's upon hundred's of dollar's. Shame on me once. Don't think I will be making a lat move on flightsim till about 2010. ;) Happy Landings, Josh
