May 15, 200719 yr Hi,In anticipation of the release of the new version for FSX, am I correct in saying that I do NOT require a registered copy of FSUIPC and WIDEFS to use it across 2 PC's, and therefore use Simconnect instead. If this is the case, then will you be supplying details of how to connect this way when you release the new version.thanksKeith
May 15, 200719 yr Hi Keith,No matter what type of set up, the new version will not use FSUIPC at all. We have not worked on documentation, but I am sure this will be spelled out when we do!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 15, 200719 yr HiASX will be using simconnect for communication with FSX. There will be no need for FSUIPC for use with ASX. The network setup will be described in detail on the documentation, but will require a client install of simconnect. This means that you would require the FSX Deluxe version to be able to retrieve the simconnect.msi from the SDK. Full details of system requirements are on our website. We hope MS makes the client installer program downloadable to avoid the need for deluxe version requirement but we are not aware of the details or their plans in this regard.Hope this helpsRegardsCarl Hackmanhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg
