May 29, 200719 yr Just curious as to what the specs are of the computer used to capture these shots: http://www.hifisim.com/screenshots.php?directory=fsxe&img=1and what kind of FPS you get... Those shots look excellent :)
May 29, 200719 yr Hi,I believe those are from Chris and his machine so he will need to come along. I use an AMD3400 and an ATI 9800 and get 30+ FPS.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

May 30, 200719 yr wow! Did you have to tweak cfg at all? lol, here i thought you'd have like a 10 core processor, 2gig graphics, 8gig RAM or something to get those nice of shots! ;) But seriously, those are the nicest shots of FSX i've ever seen! I'll have to consider getting the package. My system is in my siggy... a bit lower that what you all are using, but not shabby... reason I ask is i'm hopefully going to build a desktop here soon... probably a year down the road... I like to know what kind of specs I should be looking at purchasing to run FSX well. Right now I have to run no autogen, sparse scenery, 1280x960 res, LOD medium, mid range mesh, 1m texture res, and high 1x water. No traffic at all. :| but it works for now :) Have yet to tweak my cfg...
