May 30, 200719 yr Hi, (I hope this doesn't post multiple times - I'm having trouble posting in this forum tonight) I'm interested in ASX but wondered if you could clarify how it handles thermals please? I love soaring about the place in FSX.I note something along the lines of "FSX-integrated vertical air, turbulence and dynamic wx changes" in ASX, but I wondered could you expand on what that means please from the perspective of free-flight soaring.cheerssmithcorp
May 30, 200719 yr Hi,You posted only once.Thermals will be based on weather conditions and land features and should mimic the real stuff as much as possible. That is realy all I know about it!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 30, 200719 yr Commercial Member Hi,FSX generates the thermals and ridge lift, which are influenced by the the wind and terrain. There are not configurable thermals (yet) but FSX does a good job at creating them fairly realistically. Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
