AS 6.5 and Dean

i got winds of 9 knots at montego bay???

can AS do a hurricane?

i have 6.5 ..the link shows shows ASX...which looks nothing like mine

Hi,If you mean ASv6 the answer is yes, but not like ASX can. ASv6 is going to rely on stations being open and reporting, which in many cases does not happen during a hurricane. Personal move out, equipment gets shut down, electricity goes off, equipment gets blown away. Any of these things mean a loss of data. ASv6 users are better searching the fringes of major hurricanes.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

>i have 6.5 ..the link shows shows ASX...which looks nothing>like mineASV 6.5's hurricane depiction is only as good as the weather men that stay around when a hurricane hits.Since most weather people leave, you won't get accurate data for a 'cane with ASV 6.5 most likely.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
