Does Active Sky have to be running???

Featured Replies

Dumb question here.....(I've got a million of 'em :-))Does Active Sky have to be running to get the cloud and weather affects? In other words, I have AS6 setup and configured but don't open it up and have it running in the background when I run FS9. My question is, am I still getting the AS6 effects even though AS6 is not open? I am simply runnig FS9 w/ "real Updated Weather" used.Hope this makes sense.....

Hi,Keep the questions coming, that is why I am here! Please just list a few at a time though!!Yes, AS needs to be kept running. However, AS can run in the background, minimized to the task bar. Then you are getting AS weather.Lastly, in FS, weather must be set to User Defined and not anything else.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
