October 13, 200718 yr Phil Taylor says in his blog comments:"We did not address the weather system, that work is bigger than what can be accomplished in a service pack."http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/archive/2007...p2.aspx#5280012
October 13, 200718 yr Surely there is some workaround that can alleviate the problem, especially since there are areas of the world where it is not an issue. I have noticed the problem mailnly occurs in more remote areas (eg. Australia, South Pacific) where weather stations are perhaps few and far between and could be at odds with winds aloft data. Maybe there is a way to either add virtual stations to fill in the gaps or modify data known to cause wind shift, even if it is at the expense of accuracy. As it is now, trans-Australia flights are a comedy of overspeeds, near stalls and left/right yaws at cruising altitude. At this rate, there is no hope of me using FSPassengers when it gets updated for FSX, as I will get pinged every time I fly such routes!Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
