Cloud Question

Featured Replies

Hello - I have recently reinstalled F2002, installed PAI planes (ones with new installer only) and purchased the new Active Sky weather program. I have been searching the forums for an old topic that I can't find so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction - I'm getting the old "flat cloud" issue -you know when you pass through clouds and you look out your side window and they are vertical lines. My computer is a P4, 640MB Ram, GE3 TI200 card - any help is appreciated and sorry if I'm bringing up an overdiscussed topic.Steve

Hi Steve,This happens when there is text on the screen for any length of time.. for example SHIFT-Z debug info, BRAKES text, etc... The FS2002 cloud renderer stops rotating the clouds when this happens (preventing them from showing properly). Solution is to clear the text!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table
