ASV6.5 on client pc

Featured Replies

HiI'm running ASV6.5 on a client pc via WideFS. Everytime I start the program I have to tell it the location of the FS Folder on my FS pc. Is there a .ini file which I could manually set this, because it doesn't seem to be saved. The weather loads though. I have shared the appropriate folders/drives on client/FS9 computers. Here are the messages I get:1. Your FS Folder was not located on this machine. Please browse to it in the next screen...2. Your FS Folder is set to xxxGMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9. Now SAVE your OPTIONS to apply this new location to your settings...3. Error during FS station database check (Step 3)... Stations may not be properly configured for extended-coverage weather depiction...GEPRO installed on FS9 pc also has problems communicating with ASV6.5On my previous installation it would detect ASV6.5 and download the metars. Now the only option is metars from Flight1. The ASV6.5 logo on the weather control settings screen is also gonePuh, a long post...BrgdsJan Fredrik

Hi Jan,I would guess this is a problem with the share/map drive. I'd suggest creating a new share (not a map drive) on the FS machine for the Flight Simulator 9 folder, and point ASv6 to that one. Apparently the folder you are specifying is not valid or is not getting proper permission with write access. Make sure you choose "allow network users to change files" to allow write access.Does this help?Best,
