March 9, 200818 yr Hi Joe,Overcast Enhancement On?Clouds set to Maximum Coverage in FS?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
March 9, 200818 yr Author Yes and yes. Visibility was at 0 sm but as i was climbing i noticed it was not overcast and the report was overcast.
March 9, 200818 yr Hi,Were you within 2 miles of the reporting station? If not, you could have been getting a blending of weather from surrounding stations.Does this happen all the time for you?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
March 9, 200818 yr Author Possibly within 2 miles of the reporting station, but as for the overcast im pretty sure all stations were reporting overcast from where i was travelling, it was a snow blast storm north east. I was in the middle of the storm, I actually heard thunder storm clouds too, did not really fit in as per the conditions reported. This was a CYYZ to CYUL flight between 6 pm yesterday evening.
March 9, 200818 yr Hi,Have you gotten OVC in the past?Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
March 9, 200818 yr Author I never really paid attention to it, or looked at metar reports as i do now, so i don't know. But NO i never saw overcast in fs9.
