overcast issue in fs9, refresh my memory please

Can someone remind me why i don't see overcast conditions, they are simply broken in fs9?Was there a fix, its a horrible feeling without!

Yes and yes. Visibility was at 0 sm but as i was climbing i noticed it was not overcast and the report was overcast.

Possibly within 2 miles of the reporting station, but as for the overcast im pretty sure all stations were reporting overcast from where i was travelling, it was a snow blast storm north east. I was in the middle of the storm, I actually heard thunder storm clouds too, did not really fit in as per the conditions reported. This was a CYYZ to CYUL flight between 6 pm yesterday evening.

I never really paid attention to it, or looked at metar reports as i do now, so i don't know. But NO i never saw overcast in fs9.

Hey Jim from ground looking up yes, from over cloud top not around my aircraft, it just seems below my plane that there is no clouds.

Ok i understand but with asv 6 I didn't get the overcast look i got with default fs9 clouds!
