Let's see if i'm doing this right.The very 1st thing i do when i fire up fsx is clear the weather completely to clear skies .Then and only then do i start up active sky x . If i go on vatsim before i go live online i hit CAVOK then i go on line so then at least i think that now the vatsim and active sky weather can't have a boxing match with each other. Now here's what i'm noticing, like last night with the 767 level d sitting in Vancouver waiting for clearence . The weather on the active sky main screen when i put my mouse over Vancouver said winds 205 @7 knts, then the controller said to me winds 080@5 knts- wow so i bring up the weather on vatsim and sure enough it wasn't the same at all and going into cyyc was the same. Any ideas on this? Louis
