Everything GOes White

Featured Replies

Dont know if this is a known issue or what but when on final approach (several times diff places) in bad weather the screen goes WHITE sorta like clouds came into the cockpit (VC) only the 2d panel can be seen. First time It Happened I did a GO AROUND successfully and turned weather off. Was kinda a learning exp. as far as the go around went. Anyway any help appreciated.

This was an issue with the last full version (4.25 and older) of FSUIPC. Get the latest v4.26 from Pete Dowson's download page or search his forum for the term "super fog". I spent two weeks working betas with him to alleviate the problem. Only seeing the 2D panel was the exact symptom.Regards,

Thanks for the tips BUT it didnt work. I loaded up ASX (after loading 4.26 fsuipc and while approaching runway BOOM white every where,(super fog?) except the 2d view. Is there any setting in the fsupic to change? This keeps me from using ASX.... any more help?

Off the top of my head (at work now), in ASX-sp3, I have most options turned off (unchecked), including wind-smoothing, fog-layer, and visibility reduction, and virtual stations. IIRC, in FSUIPC (reg'd) I have default v4.26 weather settings plus Wind/Temp/Baro smoothing enabled and the disable-turbulance boxes unchecked. If still an issue using the Reg'd version of FSUIPC, you might try moving/renaming the fsuipc.ini file to start a new one, to get the default settings properly set in the ini file. Then, if necessary, copy back any custom controller sections from the original ini file to the new one.Hope this helps.
