March 30, 200818 yr Anyone else problems with Pseudostations over the Atlantic?Tried it now three times and it is always the same. I do not get the wind from these stations in my FSX as you can see on the screenshot.Crossing the pond from east to west last station is somewhere in Ireland and the next windupdate was station CWMH somewhere in Canada in 2xx nm range. March 30, 200818 yr Author Wind smoothing is off. Build 1106. Works fine most of the time. ;-) Regards, Christoph Reppel (FSX, Win7 64-bit, I7)
April 4, 200818 yr Hi,You said it works fine most of the time! What happens if you turn pseudo stations Off?What is dynamic change set to?What happens if you try with default settings?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
April 4, 200818 yr Author It works fine but never with these pseudo stations.Where is an option for pseudo stations? I think they are necessary to get realistic winds over the Atlantic or Pacific. My FSX ignores these winds. My settings are all default but wind smoothing off. Regards, Christoph Reppel (FSX, Win7 64-bit, I7)
April 4, 200818 yr Hi,They are the same as the virtual stations. Are you starting ASX before FSX?On the advanced weather screen in FSX can you see the stations? If I get a chance over the weekend, I'll try an Atlantic flight myself and check it out for you.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
April 4, 200818 yr Author >Hi,>>They are the same as the virtual stations.Maybe I should try with virtual stations on.>>Are you starting ASX before FSX?ASX was started before FSX. Tried to restart whilst flying in the middle of the Atlantc but then ASX did not update any weather. It was updated getting in range with a "normal" station.>>On the advanced weather screen in FSX can you see the>stations?Did not take a look on this.>>If I get a chance over the weekend, I'll try an Atlantic>flight myself and check it out for you.>Thanks.
