May 6, 200818 yr Is it possible that an installation of ASX that someone foolishly forgot to install any of the updates on :-roll :-hmmm :-roll cause FSX to crash with amongst others a sim1.dll error as I have spent the last two hours trying to figure out why it was crashing. Disabled ASX and crash stopped but was it just a coincidence?? William Hall
May 6, 200818 yr Hi Bill,Do you mean updates to FSX? Yes, SP1 for FSX must be installed. Is that what you mean?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 7, 200818 yr Hi JimNo - I had SP1 for FSX and only the bare-bones version of ASX - I had forgotten to install the ASX updates. I got a raft of Exception 14 messages which was before the fix for the exception in one of the ASX SPs William Hall
