April 23, 200818 yr I was flying last night from Duluth, MN to Mpls, MN and my landing was around sunset. I had a really goofy graphics issue happen and I'm not sure if it was my system, or something goofy with ASX or Graphics X. It was overcast at the time and the sun was setting on the horizion.Shortly before touchdown everything got very dark, and almost a redish brown dark so that all I could see was the area that my landing lights hit on the ground. If I switched views it would briefly show the normal surroundings, but then it would change back to this odd color. When taxing I could see the terminal and AI aircraft, but it was like it was pitch dark out (but instead of dark it was this brownish red color). The closest thing I could associate it to was the color of the sky when the fires were burning here in MN last year.I tried to take some screen shots, but I can't find them on my system. If it does happen again when I fly tonight I'll make sure to post the pictures.TIAJ Building a full scale 737-800 Simulator running P3D v5.x 210 degree wrap around screen Jason Lohrenz (@lohrenz737) • Instagram photos and videos Lohrenz 737 Simulator Project (lohrenzsimulator.com)
April 23, 200818 yr Hi J,Yes the combination of the OVC with your dusk textures could have led to this.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
April 23, 200818 yr Author OK...I figured it may be some odd combination. Is there anything I can do to prevent this in the future? It led to a very interesting landing to say the least!TIAJason Building a full scale 737-800 Simulator running P3D v5.x 210 degree wrap around screen Jason Lohrenz (@lohrenz737) • Instagram photos and videos Lohrenz 737 Simulator Project (lohrenzsimulator.com)
