August 16, 200817 yr i had similar wind problems even after the newest service pack, but i am addicted to the asx weather generation enough that it was worth it for me to try and upgrade to full version of FSUIPC.the settings i use are 2 degrees/sec, (the upper of the two values, the other one becomes 0 if you enter 2 in the first box)..'airborne smoothing only' is also checked although i can't remember if that was a default or not. all other settings are left at default or off. this works great with lds763 and all my other planes.whatever magic FSUIPC does seems like the only thing that really fixed the wind issues for me, and it does it flawlessly. asx's built-in smoothing makes a valiant effort but it seems it can't always react quickly enough or something.?.fsuipc seems like it just takes over and forces the wind to behave at a deeper place in the engine or such. anyway cheers,-andy crosby
August 16, 200817 yr Hi All,We attempt to smooth the data, pre-SimConnect and FSUIPC attempts to smooth the data post-SimConnect, so yes there is a slight difference.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
