Exception received: 14 ?

Featured Replies

Hello, I've reinstalled WinXP and FSX on my Main station. The SimConnect.ini and SimConnect.xml from my previous install are placed in the proper folders. Now, when I run ASX on the client station it connects to FSX and everything looks ok: the weather, cloud, pressure change as usuual. I can see my plane on the map in ASX. But in the console window on the Main page there's the above message running all the time: Exception received: 14. What can be wrong? Thanks,Dirk.

Weird, when I ran ASX and XG prior to FSX launch, it went without Exception 14. There's nothing to double check unfrotunately, as I wrote the weather (winds and pressure), aircraft position on ASX'map all worked properly. Of course I opened all the shares as required. I think there was one dicrepancy between the in-game time (set to system I think) and the ASX's time option. What do you know about Exception 14? I'll run ASX after FSX and will see if it returns.Thanks.

Hi,I believe that the Exception 14 error is caused by no access to the wxstation file that is a part of FSX. That is why you might need to check your shares across the network. Please don't run ASX after FSX as the virtual stations will not be created. Maybe a re-boot solved the network issue?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
