RXP GNS V2 and GTN database update
Has anybody tried that? The current trainer there is v6.41. Download is not available ,so I installed the trainer on iPad4. Is it possible to "see" relevant folders and files on iPad from PC. Like for example Android folders and files? Thanks.

Something that I've just found in SimConnect.xml
My <MaxRecvSize>8192</MaxRecvSize> is different from MaxReceiveSize=4096 in SimConnect.cfg on the Client machine. And SimConnect guide says: "inside the SimConnect.xml, the ip address, port, maxreceivesize etc. should match what you have in the SimConnect.cfg on the Client machine" What can the difference in maxreceivesize affect? My AS2016 and ASCA are on that Client. Thanks, Dirk.

MT6 huge in SceneryCache
I've just discovered that MT6 creates a huge f_mytraffic folder inside ProgramData\Prepar3D v3\SceneryCache. Everytime I delete it, P3D rebuilds it there. Could you please check out what you have there (those with MT6). I don't think I saw it in my previous P3Dv3 install. Thanks, Dirk.

And how about disabling TB in P3D UI then? Just in case, to make sure they don't confict when both TB are on. I would also measure the load again after disabling TB in P3D and enabling it in NVI. Dirk

Welll, except for some serious visual DISTORTION of the windshield and framing geometry as seen from ANY POV position in the cockpit of PMDG 737NGX, see and compare yourself: Their next 777 came out MUCH better in this department. Cheers, Dirk.

Refresh rate.
Unlike FSX/SE in P3Dv3 the refresh rate of your monitor puts a cap on the max number of frames per second produced by P3D engine. So if your monitor supports 30MHz refresh P3D can churn out 30FPS at max depending on your hardware. When you set a fixed number of frames in P3D it makes P3D engine to add some overhead to each frame generated which is eventually more stress on your hardware compared to Unlimited/30MHz monitor setting (not external limiter!) Rob and Steve may want to pick it up from here and correct me. Thats what I understood from their thfeads on the subject. Thx

Please share your impression on what looks better for you when flying heavy VAS airliners: Autogen=Dense or LOD Radius=5.5? Clearly you can't use both flying PMDG777 into say uk2000's EGLL, either Normal/@5.5 or Dense/@4.5, so what's your preference in this trade off? Thank you. Dirk.

Texture.cfg Type values
When installing Approaching Insbruck (FSX) in P3Dv3.3.5 outside of Prepar3D v3 folder the installer drops 4 textures in "root" Texture folder, so one needs to reference them in texture.cfg. Unfortunately I could not find any info on the Global/World switches used in P3D's texture.cfg file, so I just used Type=Global. Thanks, Dirk.

A HONEST view on how P3Dv3 performs...
While my NEC monitor is 100Hz normally I can set it to 30Hz with nVidia Control panel (I checked the overlay, indeed it becomes 30Hz). I've always used your fps analysis and settings suggestions in FSX-SE and P3D, they are the best, at least to my specific hardware. Many thanks, Dirk.
