March 7, 200323 yr Bill.. In the manual and other posts I understood that in the three planes: the BT, Med, and Light That only the BT and Med had all positions except the Med had no Vert Cockpit. My CD has the same positions for the BT Model and the Med Model They both have all the same views... The Light has cockpit view and the only difference is I see no engines and wing on the side views. it has no Vert cockpit. but has all the other views. Gunners, top turrent, and Bombers view. Am I missing somthing here or all the CDs this way... Not that I am complaining I love the Plane and consider it the best ww2 aircraft I own... I fly in the Light Model most of the time and use the Med at startup so I can see the engines turn.... My wife said she is going to bring charges againest your group as she hasn't seen me since the CDs arrived in the mail :-lol
March 7, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Cecil,Not exactly. The Light has no VC at all. The Medium has a Virtual Cockpit, only. The full version has the virtual cockpit, plus 3-D virtual upper turret compartment and virtual bombardier's compartment.Views, which are 2-D, are something altogether different. All three versions do share the same eight 2-D views, including the forward view out the nose and the rear view from the upper turret, among others. So, it's only in the degree of VC that the three complexity levels vary, and this is where most of the performance hit resides.Got all that? :-) Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, and Younghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
