  1. Give the Transparency Fix from our Free Stuff Pages a try. It might do the trick for you. If not, you'll have to hope someone with Win 10 can give you a clue, since I have neither the OS or a clue!
  2. Hi Rich, no problem. Contact me by e-mail so I have your name and e-addr to look up your orders and rejuvenate the links. [email protected]
  3. Hi CJ, I think they changed the Water Rudder command keys from FS9 to FSX. That's what we used to activate the window. I don't have any way of looking it up where I am at the moment with my laptop, but my ancient memory seems to recall it's Shift+W now. You can always look it up in the FS controls menu if that does not do it. Cheers, Bill
  4. Hi CJ, The easy way is for me to give you a DL link to the 7th Edition. Shoot me an e-mail with your particulars so I can look your order up on the store database and I'll get it right off to you. [email protected]
  5. No conversion, per se, but if you go to the MAAM-SIM Free Stuff Pages you will find a couple of patch files to allow you to use the Turkey in FSX.
  6. Hi Gary. The short answer is yes. You may need to apply the Transparency Fix from our MAAM-SIM Free Stuff Pages .
  7. That exe file is the aircraft installer. Go ahead and run it to re-install the planes to their original state.
  8. The MAAM-SIM CD versions of the R4D and B-25 are no longer produced. You don't need an internet connection to install them, but you do to download the packages. I guess that is a Catch-22. But once you have the installer, it can be saved as a back-up indefinitely, but the DL link itself expires after 48 hours. All the additional content on the CDs is available from our Free Stuff Page.
  9. Never, sorry. Please read the pinned topic, "Question about MAAM-SIM future".
  10. That's a new one on me, Larry. Sorry. Anyone else have an idea?
  11. Try turning off the DX10 preview. The textures are not compatible with it.
  12. Hi Mike, Sorry to hear you are having issues. The v7 B-25 you bought has an auto-installer which locates your FS9 directory automatically and installs it there. Did you allow it to run normally, or did you use some utility to install the package? You purchased the FS9 version. The transparency fix is only needed when using the FS9 version in FSX. Which sim are you using? Tell me a little bit about your computer, especially what OS you are using.
  13. Yes and yes. Just be sure to pay attention to the installation path, which is different for 64bit and needs to be changed from the default path of the installer.
  14. No problem. Just e-mail me at [email protected] with your name and particulars so I can look up your order on the store database. I'll send you the FSX DL installer.
  15. Hi Machie Second question first, which may help with the first - get all the manuals and instructional videos from our Free Stuff Pages. You don't mention which of our three aircraft you are talking about, but the plural engines narrows it slightly and it would be a bit strange if you flew a Mitchell for Hawaiian AL, so my Holmes like intellect leads me to surmise we are talking about the Douglas. In any case, as you will find when you consult all the goodies you'll download from the aforementioned FSPs, you must fly the plane with proper throttle, mixture and prop settings or, just as in the real thing, bad things will happen. Our flight models are designed to replicate actual aircraft performance to the point where you can and must fly them "to the numbers" found in the real aircraft manuals. Incidentally, despite newer and bigger FS designers slick ad slogans, MAAM-SIM was the first to do this, way back in 1999! Even without going to school with the instructional downloads, you can pull up your plane's kneeboard reference pages from the FSX menu and adhere to the maximum numbers for the various phases of your flight. Aloha and happy flying!
  16. Are you using the actual switches on the panel, or the key command?
  17. What version of the B-25 do you have? Have you tried re-installing it?
  18. I'll try to help you with the texture issue. Give me some more info on your installation - FS version, MAAM-SIM edition number, CD or download, and how you installed it.
  19. You may have to bite the bullet and spring for the latest versions of both planes to get them working properly in FSX/Win7. Too many things have changed since FS2002 for me to even hazard a guess at what the issue may be.
  20. Hi Ken, Never heard of that one before! There are no special programs running to support the B-25, outside of FS itself. Have you looked at Task Manager while flying to see what process is using up memory?
  21. Hi ZA. You'll need some different files to revert to the FS9 version. If you had purchased the CD version you would already have both FSX and FS9 installers, so I assume you bought the download. If you contact me by e-mail, [email protected], and give me your name and address I can look your purchase up on the store database. Then I'll be happy send you a free link to the FS9 version.
  22. Hi Howard. Good to hear from you. Sorry, there is no free upgrade directly to v10. But, everything in it, except the FSX installer, is available from the free stuff pages to upgrade it yourself from the FS9 version. The idea behind v10 was to make money for the museum by putting out the FSX installer for new FSX customers, as well as for previous FS9 owners who did not want to go through that upgrade rigamarole.
  23. Hi Tom, Sorry about this error. Someone’s going to have to stand in the corner for this! We’ll get the correct CD off to you ASAP, and keep the Multi-Media disc with our compliments. Thanks for going the extra mile to support the museum- even if we did detour you. We really appreciate it. I'm going to send you a download link by e-mail so you do not have to wait for the CD to arrive to fly the Mitchell.
  24. There is a new version, v10, for FSX. You can get it at the museum store.
